Please remember, there are now 3 sessions remaining before the CGA Program’s course completion deadline of September 2015, so we encourage you to make the most of each session:

Laurentian University Students

Please be aware the enrolment deadline for Laurentian courses is Monday, November 17, 2014.

Because Laurentian courses fill up and close very quickly (sometimes before the posted enrolment deadlines),it is crucial that you enrol as early as possible to avoid missing out on your desired course.

If you are unable to enrol in your desired course and would like to be placed on the waiting list, please send your request to Cindy James. Be sure to include your name, CGA and Laurentian student ID numbers in the subject line (e.g., John Doe | CGA ID# 2240161234 | LU ID# 299991 | Waiting List for HC1 Course)

Remember to Update Your Address!

Before logging into the online Enrolment system, please update your current preferred shipping/mailing address. This is important to ensure that your course materials are delivered to the correct location. To update or verify your contact information:

CGA Students, please go to the Student Details link found under My CGA-BC

CGA Members, please go to the Member Details link found under Member Services Login

LU students, please note that any changes made to your contact information will also need to be communicated to Laurentian University. Please email luonline@laurentian.ca (and be sure to include your LU student number) for further instructions.

o Please note that you will access course information and submit your assignments through Laurentian’s online learning website, Desire 2 Learn (D2L). You will access the D2L website by signing into your Laurentian account. If this is your first course enrolment, please familiarize yourself with this website. Students will have access two weeks prior to the course start date.

o MBA students and members completing joint CGA and LU PACE courses FN2, MU1, MS2 and PF1 as part of their MBA program requirements should note that the final Laurentian course mark will be based on a combination of 40 per cent from the assignment marks and 60 per cent from the final examination mark for each course. CGA-BC will continue to use 100 per cent from the final examination mark for each course.

Live Enrolment System

CGA-BC uses a live enrolment system that processes enrolments in real time and charges credit cards immediately. Students will receive an email confirmation shortly after their enrolment is processed. If you do not receive this email confirmation and/or are unsure whether your enrolment has been successfully processed, do not complete the enrolment again— you may inadvertently charge your credit card more than once. Instead, contact a Student Advisor at Advising@cga-bc.org for assistance.

It is important to read through each screen carefully to ensure you are making the correct selection. Field help, shown by the (?) symbol, can be found on most headings for assistance. You can also review our Enrolment FAQs for assistance.

Have You Completed Your LU Degree?

If you have completed your degree, please be sure to fill out and submit the Request for Degree Requirement Completion form and have an official copy of your transcript indicating completion of the degree mailed to CGA-BC. Faxed and unofficial copies will not be accepted.

Enrolments will not be processed without payment. If you are paying by cheque, your “Enrolment Summary” must be stapled to your cheque and received by Association staff by the enrolment deadline.
