Personal Reflection #1
Chapters 1-4 brought many subjects to my attention that I have never really learned about in my past. What caught my attention was a topic in Chapter 3 in dealing with female sexual anatomy, physiology, and response. More specifically, I learned a ton in the section with regards to female sexual response. As a male, I know for the most part that the sexual response for men and women might be slightly different for both. From reading the section, I was able to learn about the three models used in describing the changes and patterns that take place in a female body during sexual arousal. Whether looking at Master and Johnson’s four-phase model, Kaplan’s Tri-phasic model, or Loulan’s sexual response model, they all explain some very important stages that occur. These phases can range from feelings such as desire, excitement, orgasm, and even the resolution. All these areas stood out to me in really trying to understand and grasp how the female mind works during this time.
When I came across the subject of female sexual response, I dove right in and wanted to gain as much knowledge as possible from reading the section. Being in a relationship for three years now, I have always tried to learn as much as I can in respect to my partner. When the sacred time comes of exchanging my energy in a sexual way with my girlfriend, it is always a priority to please her in the best way that I can. By studying how the mind of a female works during this time, I can make the whole experience more enjoyable for the both of us. With a better understanding of the changes a female goes through in her mind, senses, and hormones I am now capable of counteracting any situations that may arise. Instead of getting right into it, which may happen at times, I would rather take my time and fully get my companion aroused first. I truly feel that learning this subject makes me more understanding of the needs of a female.
Currently, the amount of time set aside for intimacy between my partner and I has lessened, and to change that I plan on taking the many things I learned with me and using it. I may have been focusing on myself a little too much lately and there is a good chance that is the reason behind it. As individuals, I think we sometimes tend to get too caught up in how we want to feel that we make it an expectation. Expectations come with attachments. So the next time, I plan on leaving that at the door and really focusing on the moment.

Science Outline

...SCI Ch.1 – Ch.10 Outline Ch. 1 The scientific law describes an important relationship that is observed in nature to occur consistently time after time. A model is a description of a theory or idea that accounts for all known properties. The steps in the scientific method includes 1. Observation 2. Question 3. Background research 4. Hypothesis 5. Methods 6. Equipment 7. Experiment; collect data 8. Results; analyze results 9. Conclusions 10. New hypothesis. A hypothesis should start with ‘if’ and go on to ‘then’… A hypothesis can never be proven for all time however, the data from an experiment can support the null hypothesis. If all data from many experiments supports the null hypothesis, it is a scientific theory. Ch. 2 The two components of motion include the change in the position, and a change in the time. Three important combinations of distance and time are speed, velocity, and acceleration. Two types of speed measurement are the average speed- most common measurement, and instantaneous speed- measured as time approaches zero. Force is a push or pull that is capable of changing the state of motion of an object. The four fundamental forces include gravity, electromagnetic, weak nuclear force, and strong nuclear force. Inertia is the tendency of an object to remain in unchanging motion whether actually moving or at rest when the net force is zero. Newton’s three laws of motion are that every object retains its state of rest or motion unless acted upon. Acceleration...
