...An assortment of Gaudiya-Vaisnava Nectar About Sri Vishnu Priya-devi: Vishnupriya is bhu-shakti. She is also Satyabhama. Daughter of Sanatana Mishra, who was a very learned brahmana and Vaishnava. From childhood she was very religious, following all vratas and worships. She especially worshipped Tulasidevi and bathed 2 or 3 times daily in the Ganga. This is where she met Sacidevi who would bless her saying, "May you have a good husband." From that time Saci thought of making her her daughter-in-law. She was Lord Chaitanya's second wife after Lakshmipriya departed this world. The pious brahmana Sri Kashinatha mishra arranged this marriage. The marriage was held with great pomp and proper rituals. The whole Navadwipa came to see this divine pastime that even demigods cannot see. The Lord hardly gave her attention after this marriage. She bore all this quietly. The night he left to take sannyasa He showed His 4-armed form to her. She would put one grain of rice in a pot for every round of HKM she chanted, and cook that and share with mother Saci. Ideal widow. About Sri Raghunandana Thakur: He was the son of Mukunda dasa (who is brother to Sri Madhava and Narahari Sarkar). This family hailed from Srikhanda. R.T. was Kandarpa Manjari in Vrajalila and Krishna's son also named Kandarpa in Dwaraka lila. One when his father went on business, the 8-year old R.T. fed the home Deity laddu. He was fearful his father would think he hadn't done the offering when the Deity...

...Jainism were prevalent in northern Bengal. This Buddhist tradition continued for centuries up to the end of the Pala period. The period was marked by the establishment of some Buddhist colleges and universities, the remains of one of which still can be found at Paharpur. From the twelfth century, under royal patronage of the Sena rulers, there was the revival of Brahmanical Hinduism; and because of the introduction of Kulinism and torture on the Buddhists and Yogis, the path was made ready for the spread of Islam from the thirteenth century onward. With the elapse of time, Shaktism became very prominent in Bengal; and from the end of the fifteenth century, Vaishnavism also grew to be popular under the leadership of Shri Chaitanya.[1] Centuries after the demise of Chaitanya, Bhakti Vedantaswami Prabhupada made Bengal's Vaishnavism a factor of Krishna consciosuness all over the world. There are many bhajans (devotional prayers to Bhagavan, Supreme Personality of Godheadm Krsna, and his devotees), which are written in Bengali language. ...Chaitanya Konda 2nd April, 2014 ZUMWALD CASE ANALYSIS On analysis of Zumwald’s structure, it can be concluded that it is partly vertically integrated with conflicts of interest with in divisions regarding supply. To provide a solution to this scenario we need to look at the contribution margin since fixed costs are irrelevant and also at the most profitable option for the company as a whole. Also considering the suppliers here, Zumwald has no relationship with Display Technologies Plc previously and we have no idea about the quality since it is trying to aggressively compete with prices. Relatively, Bogardus NV has a good relationship with Zumwald and is known ...

...Of course, the application was completely different but I remember my professor telling me that more training would always result in more accurate results. So I implemented this by training more than 100 resumes, while my other team members tried to find other solutions. I noticed the improvement in recognition and we were able to achieve more success by training more data. • Connecting Hadoop application to Web UI: I faced a problem initially while connecting hadoop application to the web UI. In the web UI, when changes were done, they were not being reflecting from the hadoop application. When something is entered into the process objects or input fields, the entered text wasn’t being forwarded to the hadoop application. My team lead, Chaitanya, identified this problem and recommended that I use structs or servlets and pass it as input to the MapReduce objects. • Server Connection and Hive: I faced some difficulties while trying to retrieve the intermediate relation from running the hadoop application. The table that gets created often had null values or inaccurate values. The main issue was that when submitting to the server, it wouldn’t give any response and that was same with the hive server, where the table gets stored and where it needs to be retrieved from. After struggling with this error for a while and researching about it, I learned that there different drivers for hive. So after finding the appropriate drivers and getting the permissions from master to slave for the...

...The earliest evidence for prehistoric religion in India date back to the late Neolithic in the early Harappan period (5500–2600 BCE).[21][22] The beliefs and practices of the pre-classical era (1500–500 BCE) are called the "historical Vedic religion". Modern Hinduism grew out of the Vedas, the oldest of which is the Rigveda, dated to 1700–1100 BCE.[23] The Vedas center on worship of deities such as Indra, Varuna and Agni, and on the Soma ritual. Fire-sacrifices, called yajña were performed, and Vedic mantras chanted but no temples or icons were built.[24] The oldest Vedic traditions exhibit strong similarities to Zoroastrianism and other Indo-European religions.[25] The major Sanskrit epics, Ramayana and Mahabharata, were compiled over a protracted period during the late centuries BCE and the early centuries CE[citation needed]. They contain mythological stories about the rulers and wars of ancient India, and are interspersed with religious and philosophical treatises. The later Puranas recount tales about devas and devis, their interactions with humans and their battles against demons. Three major movements underpinned the naissance of a new epoch of Hindu thought: the advent and spread of Upanishadic, Jaina, and Buddhist philosophico-religious thought throughout the broader Indian landmass.[26] Mahavira (24th Tirthankar of Jains) and Buddha (founder of Buddhism) taught that to achieve moksha or nirvana, one did not have to accept the authority of the Vedas or the caste...

...Performance Evaluation of Selected Ceramic Companies of Bangladesh Abdullah Al Masum1, Fatema-Tuz-Johora2 1. Faculty of Business, ASA University Bangladesh 2. Faculty of Business, East West University Bangladesh ABSTRACT This paper applies performance evaluation of ceramic industry of Bangladesh and to test its financial soundness. The main aim is achieved through ratio analysis of four selected ceramic (Fu Wang, Monno, Shinepukur and Standard) companies in Bangladesh. Measurement of financial performance by ratio analysis helps identify organizational strengths and weaknesses by detecting fi- nancial anomalies and focusing attention on issues of organizational importance. The financial performance of this industry is measured in terms of profitability, solvency, efficiency and liquidity analysis and to test the financial soundness, Multivariate Discriminate Analysis (MDA) is used, which was developed by Prof. Altman. The study covers four public sector ceramic com- panies listed on Dhaka Stock Exchange. The study has been undertaken for the period of five years from 2006-7 to 2010-2011 and the necessary data has been obtained from the audited annual report of the selected companies. The liquidity position was very weak in all the cases of the selected companies and thereby reflecting the difficulties in paying short-term obligation on due date. Financial stability of the selected companies has shown an upward trend. This study will help investors to identify...
