Being alive for 21 years now, I have learned that everything that shines isn’t always gold. With that being said, I’ve learned that I am in control of my future. As long as I take the necessary steps and continuously work for my success. There’s nothing I can’t do as long as I keep focused. I would like to think that I am somewhat prepared for school. It’s been awhile since I’ve sat down in a class room but I’ll easily get back into the rhythm of it. I know my strengths and my weaknesses as well. I can already for see myself struggling with math of course. That’s a given. But, I’m confident that I can buckle down and will make it work for myself. Other weaknesses I can see bothering me while at school would be my lack of group work skills. I tend to do better when the only person I have to depend on is I. But, of course I’ll make it work for me. I feel more or less pretty prepared for school this semester. It’s a slow, easy start which is always appreciated when you’ve been away from school for a bit. It makes the transition back in much steadier. I can already see that I’ll be ready to switch up my regular style of doing things, to better suit me and my fellow classmates. I know that it can be difficult sharing tasks with others you hardly know. But that’s where an open minded personality flourishes.
