...CHAPTER 1 INTRODUCTION Background of the study Wind is the most economical and safest means of energy generation. Wind can supply energy without emitting harmful substances and chemical compounds that contribute to the rampant acceleration of the destruction of our environment that lead to global warming. Furthermore, wind power is the best option other than any other means of electricity generations such as fossil fuels and other harmful energy resources which cause damage not only danger to the human health but as well as to the environment. The multiplication of the usage of wind energy as a power source for electricity is worldly outgrowing. An estimation of 45,000 megawatts were installed in 2012 and ten percent increase in installation was recorded, a large difference if we compare the data gathered in 2011 and in 2012. The unbalanced heating of the atmosphere due to the sun’s energy results to the formation of winds, the untypical surface and the rotation of the earth around the sun causes winds. Wind directions are interrupted by the mountainous structure of the earth, its hydrologic state and its land plains. When winds pass turbines, it can generate electricity. From kinetic energy, wind propellers...

...and death of Jesus Christ written by Ellen G. White. It contains 87 chapters in total. Chapter 1 “God With Us”, talks about The Father and Son covenanted‖ together to save fallen mankind, and answers the question was their plan conceived before or after the fall of man. It then goes on to talk about the importance that Christ had in becoming human. Next in chapter 2 “The Chosen People”, is based on Genesis 12:1-3, where it talks about Israel failing to be a blessing to the nations. It then goes on to explain about how you can be a blessing to your community. Chapters 10-12 go on to talk about Christ Baptism straight to his Temptations. Two chapters that caught my attention were Chapter 7 “As a child” and Chapter 8 “Passover Visit”. Chapter 7 talks about the growth of Jesus Christ. Jesus did not have the privilege of going to school but his mother was his first teacher, he also studied the law of God. He had powers and he never abused the power to ease his work as a carpenter. He glorified God in all circumstances; Jesus lived a holy life even though he dwelt in Nazareth a place filled with temptation and other vices. He learnt from nature. He acknowledge God as his father, he also knew that they was time was everything “he said, "I must work the works of Him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.”. He is the perfect example for the youths to follow to get to the father. Chapter 8 talks about the Passover. The Passover indicates the birth of the...

...Kaplan turbine. It might be that due to the increasing of the electricity tariff in the last years small hydroelectric power plants become cost effective. Since the runner of a small hydroelectric power plant is quite small, it has to be reexamined if the hub of the runner provides enough room for a proper adaptation mechanism. For this purpose the main characteristics of the runner are determined. Then, important data such as the suction head, the occurring forces or the critical speed are established. After those data are known, a detailed stress analysis of the developed adaptation mechanism follows. The stress analysis shows that the mechanism to adjust the blades is able to withstand the occurring forces. Finally drafts of the runner and its parts are done. Makkah was considered the religious capital of the entire Arabian Peninsula much before the arrival of Islam and Kaaba had been the centre of pilgrimage for all Arabian tribes. It was a sacred territory respected by friends and foes alike. Even the Pagans who used to worship idols, called Kaaba, the House of Allah. The Hajj is the fifth pillar of Islam. It is a journey to Kaaba to perform certain prescribed rites under Allah‟s command. It is obligatory once in life time for those Muslims who can afford financially and are capable physically to conduct the rites. Apart from a religious rite the Hajj is a trade fare and a political gathering as well. During Hajj people of different places get to know each other and their difficulties. It is a foundation of social culture and provides opportunity for collective struggle. Any assembly of Muslims including congregational prayer and Hajj provides us an opportunity to meet our brothers of all races and regions in faith. In Hajj a community practically becomes a family. It makes us to learn cooperation, brotherhood, equality and love regardless of our social status, colour and nationality. "Whoever sets out for Hajj, Umrah...

Some poems, such as ‘Quickdraw’ and ‘Hour’, deal with the positive and/or negative emotions inherent in romantic relationships. Some deal with family relationships and the complex feelings that can be experienced by parents and children, or brothers and sisters, as in ‘Nettles’ and ‘Harmonium’ or ‘Brothers’ and ‘Sister Maude’ respectively. Some of the recurrent themes include conflict between couples, and the emotional vulnerability and pain that love can cause, whether it is between a father and his son or a couple at the start of a romantic love affair. When studying this cluster, it might be useful for students to focus on some of the following considerations: • What form of relationship is the focus of this poem? Is it a romantic or familial relationship? Is the poet drawing attention to any universal experiences as they portray this relationship in particular? • From whose perspective is the poem written? Is it first, second or third person address, and how does this affect meaning? Who does the poem address? Or is it about, rather than directed to, someone? Does the form of communication affect the meaning? Is the poet speaking directly, or does the poet use a persona to communicate their ideas? • Consider the mood / tone of the poem. Is it light-hearted or serious in tone? Is it making a serious...

...(1) What is The Definition of a Marketing Trend The market going in a different direction over a period of time. There are long time frames, medium time frames, and short time frames. The long ones are often called “secular”; the ones which are in the middle are “primary”, and any others that last for only a short time are “secondary”. To figure out which trend is which most people use a technical analysis. A technical analysis takes the price support and resistance over time. Marketing trends fluctuate because of technology and demographics. Also in the economic view demographics in a particular market will affect the advancement of businesses and organizations. The internet has let buyers have the ability to access to multiple merchants. That being said it is still thought of that marketing trends change due to the new technology available. It is safe to assume the market very much relies on the advancement of technology. The nature and scope of marketing research are rapidly changing to keep pace with a changing marketplace. In the face of global competition, research that measures product quality and consumer satisfaction is the fastest growing form of marketing research. ...Chapter 2 ENERGY CONVERSION AND GENERAL ENERGY ANALYSIS W hether we realize it or not, energy is an important part of most aspects of daily life. The quality of life, and even its sustenance, depends on the availability of energy. Therefore, it is important to have a good understanding of the sources of energy, the conversion of energy from one form to another, and the ramifications of these conversions. Energy exists in numerous forms such as thermal, mechanical, electric, chemical, and nuclear. Even mass can be considered a form of energy. Energy can be transferred to or from a closed system (a fixed mass) in two distinct forms: heat and work. For control volumes, energy can also be transferred by mass flow. An energy transfer to or from a closed system is heat if it is caused by a temperature difference. Otherwise it is work, and it is caused by a force acting through a distance. We start this chapter with a discussion of various forms of energy and energy transfer by heat. We then introduce various forms of work and discuss energy transfer by work. We continue with developing a general intuitive expression for the first law of thermodynamics, also known as the conservation of energy principle, which is one of the most fundamental principles in nature, and we then demonstrate its use. Finally, we discuss the efficiencies of some familiar energy conversion processes, and examine the impact on energy conversion on the environment. Detailed treatments...
