Everything in life has a beginning and an end. Riding the train of life is challenging and full of hardships, but it also has a unidirectional route. Square one, or the starting point of everything, is most of the time not a place but a stage that we have to go through. Many people question the ability to return to this stage, and whether or not we can actually go back to the start. However, often in life there are many circumstances that make it difficult to go back to this square one. A number of factors, such as natural passage of time and progression of events, makes going back to the starting point impossible and unreachable. From my perspective, I believe that going back to the beginning is unattainable in educational fields, emotional experiences, and death matters. The journey of education is long and time-consuming. Developing emotions or feelings for people requires time, and it cannot fade away easily. Speaking out of a personal experience, going back to the start of a relationship was always complicated. We started off as friends, but the friendship advanced to other levels eventually. After few months, we both realized that it is not going to work, so we decided to end it. Even though we used to be very close and intimate friends, returning to this phase after growing emotions seemed impossible. Endless examples of different types of relationships around us continue to prove that humans cannot control their emotions and cannot get unattached easily.
