The Charter of Right and Freedoms is a cornerstone document which represents the Canadian commitment to equality and justice for all Canadians in the eyes of the law. However, the history of discrimination and racism against minorities, the most prominent being indigenous, these communities are too often left with the lowest quality of living and land.
