Team Ground Rules and Guidelines
What are the general expectations for all members of the team?

Each team member is expected maintain respect for one another at all times. Each team member is expected to participate 100% with all team assignments. Each team member is expected to attend all scheduled meetings (via, face-to face, email, telecommunication, etc.). Each member is responsible for communicating with team, in regards to team assignments. Once” assignments” are given to each member, it is that person’s responsibility to make sure that his/her assignment is complete and submitted in a timely manner. If a team member is unable to complete an assignment in a given time frame, that member MUST contact the team. In the absence of a team member for whatever reason, the remaining team members agree to take on the task of completing the missing portion equally and according. Each member is expected to adhere to all grounds that have been laid out, once agreed upon and submitted and throughout the course of this class. In the event a team member does not participate in part or in whole, this will be noted via the team log. Team members who do not participate should not expect to receive team points.

Expectations for Time Management and Involvement

Each member is expected to participate in all team assignments and contribute 100% of their portion. Each team member will maintain an open line of communication. Each team member is expected to respond to all communication regarding team assignments and collaborate on direction and ideas of team assignments. Each member is responsible for posting their individual portion no later Tuesday evening. This will insure on-time submission and allow time for our team member, responsible for posting, to finish his/her individual assignment. Submissions are expected to include the minimum word count (total count divided by four or five), and include reference. Team members are responsible for submitting individual portions through write-point and plagiarism prior to submitting to team forum for compilation.

Ensuring Fair and Even Contribution and Collaboration
What strategy will you use to ensure that all team members are contributing and collaborating appropriately? Describe the communication strategy you will use if a team member is not contributing and collaborating effectively. How will the team manage conflicts between team members?

Each team member will identify, at least one, individual strength and contribute to the team in that capacity. The team charter will be our guide to insuring that each member upholds their commitment to participate, collaborate and communicate throughout the course of this class. Team D agrees to rotate team leader responsibilities weekly. Team D will collaborate each week, following class, to discuss distribution of the upcoming week’s assignment. In the event of conflict, we agree to sit down face-to-face and talk through our differences or concerns. Team assignments are the responsibility of the entire team, no exceptions. Everyone’s thoughts and ideas add value and will be respected.

What do you, as a team, agree will make this team experience different from past team experiences?

As a team, we collectively agree that a professional and respectful relationship will help contribute to the success of our team. In addition, displaying respect for each other’s time, providing support to one another and upholding the commitment set-forth in our team charter will promote a healthy team experience.
