The three dimensions to business problems are, Technology, People, and organizations. In Technology, it is many tools that managers use to deal with the change within a company or throughout the world. Technology consists of computer hardware which is the foundation of Technology. The computer hard ware would be computer, in which come in all different size and also telecommunications.
From there, they all processes all activity into an information system like a server. There is computer software involved with detailed programming information to process and coordinate the hardware in a server. Technology includes all electronic devices, examples, fax machines, printers, PDA's, tablets, etc. People, would be the ones behind the scene that install and maintain all the technology, example an IT person. Also people would be the ones who use the technology to perform the duties of running the company or helping customers. In Organization, we need to know about the company like, the history, culture, and structure in order to install and use technology for the companies benefit. Organization is composed of different levels of departments. Information systems is a large cloud system designed to create and store information.
An example of Information systems would be a type writer and paper. When you combine the two, they process information, without each other they are just tools. IT, falls in the cloud with Information systems. It, has nothing to do with the system though.
IT deals with the system tools itself like the servers, operating systems, and computers. The function of Information System would be, to help users gain
