As with Laura Bechtol’s case, I wish there are more into the story as far as investigator reprimanded school personnel (coach and principle) for failing to report child abuse when in fact, the story does not elaborate what type of abuse taken place. Further, Bechtol was accused to have had “inappropriate personal relationship” with the student but no detail what constitute inappropriate relationship. Hypothetically the story is nothing but fact, Bechtol unintentionally placed herself in an unfortunate circumstance by treating one particular student over the other. Undeniably it is particularly difficult to stay beyond the professional standard when recognizing that you’re drawing to particular student or its class. I’ve never work with children
