Throughout history and many civilizations, various religions and systems of belief have came to be; many of which have come and passed, however there are many that are still prevalent to this day, one example is that of Christianity. From the years 300 CE to 600 CE, the civilizations in Afro-Eurasia experienced a major shift from many religions to that mainly consisting of the three religions: Christianity, Hinduism, and Buddhism (Pollard, 267). Of these religions, Christianity became the religion of the Roman Empire and it was the official religion of not only its people but also its government.
