The assessment I chose for this assignment is titled, “Five Days in the American Revolution.” In this assignment students are to select and complete an assignment for each day of the week. Each day has five activities from which the student can select. Some of the activities were; to create an advertisement introducing the cotton gin, make a fake Facebook page (on paper or computer) for Christopher Gadsen and to pretend they were a newspaper reporter witnessing a battle in the American Revolutionary War, they were to tell which battle they saw and write an article describing what they saw.
This assessment is effective because it allows the student to select what they want to complete instead of me assigning the assignment. This is differentiated
