...The solar charger industry has been plagued by companies mass-producing low efficiency solar chargers that don't meet the consumer's expectations . This in turn has made it hard for new solar charger companies to gain the trust of consumers. Solar companies are finally starting to offer high-efficiency solar chargers. When it comes to permanently installed public solar chargers, Strawberry energy Company from Serbia has invented and developed the first public solar charger for mobile devices, Strawberry Tree. Due to a built in rechargeable battery which stores energy, it can function without sunshine or at night. The JOOS Orange by SolarJOOS. Rural African Villagers Holding Portable Solar Charger Portable solar power is being utilized in developing countries to power lighting as opposed to utilizing kerosene lamps which are responsible for respiratory infections, lung and throat cancers, serious eye infections, cataracts as well as low birth weights. [2] Solar power provides an opportunity for rural areas to "leapfrog" traditional grid infrastructure and move directly to distributed energy solutions. Some solar chargers also have an on-board battery which is charged by the solar panel when not charging anything else. This allows the user to be able to use the solar energy stored in the battery to charge their electronic devices at night or when indoors. An example of a mobile charger is by Germany-based company Changers, who created a separate charger and battery system...

...Does Warmer External Temperature Translate Into Further Distance in an Electric Rickshaw By. Stephon Glover Target Problem Electric Rickshaw’s are a common form of transportation in throughout Asia. There are no manufacturer recommendations with regard to temperature and distance. Problem Statement: The use of Rickshaw’s in Beijing is invaluable. They are used as small vehicles for families, as taxis for 1 or 2 people, and as a means of getting around smaller districts of the megacity. There is a noticeable drop in not only distance but also torque when temperatures drop below 15 degrees Celsius. The following experiment will address the issue of temperature variation and the effect it has on the speed and distance travelled of an electric Rickshaw. The results of this study can be used in the design of electric battery storage and insulation. Literature Review There are numerous tips to improve electric vehicle performance, namely altering the way the vehicle is used. There is little language in the way of battery insulation, which will be the method used in this experiment. Of note, SAE International (2011) concluded that tested energy consumption varies based on driving ability and duties performed by the vehicle, such as heating and advanced audio systems. Electric vehicle performance is dictated not just by temperature, but deteriorates substantially based off of nonessential features. Official reports on the charging and battery efficiency of...

...certain downfalls, the company has still managed to succeed. Through innovation the economy expands. Through time and as the economy grows, new ideas or ways of doing things are created. Most organizations are seeking to produce the new “It” item, an invention that will meet the needs of consumers and improve past inventions in an effort to outshine competitors. Each organization seeks to come up with a product that is creative and inventive. Organizations may come up with great inventions and creative ideas through trial and error. It is very common for initial ideas to fail however, these failures almost always tend to lead to greater outcomes and inventions. There are already many technological devices being produced such as, a cell phone charger built into a laptop, mobile cable provider app for smartphones, solar powered smartphones and a safe driving app. X’s innovation: Imagine yourself seating in a taxi, airport, waiting room, etc. doing something very important on your computer. ...Business Research Report Evaluation of Information Technology Systems Table of Contents Executive Summary 3 Introduction 4 Research Findings 5 Apple iPad 5 Toshiba Excite™ 13 6 Samsung Galaxy Note II 6 Recommendations 7 Conclusion 7 References 8 Executive Summary For a large company, with a large sales department, with many remote employees, three different technologies that have emerged within the last five years were looked at to compare features, usability, and size. I also looked at was how easy or difficult each device would be to set up, as well as how secure each device would be for employees to use. The devices were compared to find which device would be best to have each employee use. The Apple iPad is practical for small businesses because it can be set up for fewer users and it easy to use, as well as compact, which makes it easy to transport form office to office or from home to home for remote employees. Unfortunately, for large companies, the Apple iPad can be difficult to set up for multiple users on a single iPad. Setting up devices for each work station can be very costly, as it requires its own hardware for each workstation. The iPad runs faster with the A6X chip, which launches the applications faster and makes the device run faster. The device can support a wide range of virtual private networks, which makes the device secure. The Toshiba Excite 13 Tablet is a little bigger than the iPad, which can make it harder to transport...

...ABSTRACT The idea is to achieve the goals of reduced fuel consumption and emissions by improving efficiency using hybrid architecture (Engine + Motor/s) compared to presently used engine based architecture. The flow chart can be found on the next page. WHAT a) Increase the efficiency by reducing losses when engine is idling and/or engine is operating at low rpm - Common indian metro city scenario due to large traffics b) There by reduce the emission WHY a) Let us assume the an average car engine operating on a road with traffic problems like Bangalore operates in total “m” minutes in idling and “n” minutes at low rpm (threshold rpm is one of the variable) b) Now convert these “m” and “n” minutes of fuel losses and increased emission due to incomplete combustion of fuel into monetary value say INR “X” c) Come up with hybrid architecture with monetary value say INR “Y” which will have capability to provide enough power during these “m” and “n” minutes d) Design for the case where “Y” < “X” (parameters like initial cost, maintenance cost, break even point in terms of no of years, etc will be part of this analysis) HOW 1. Hybrid architecture design will be based on parameters from a) Average car usage, b) Road conditions, c) Cost of car, d) Battery charging - Stations/Alternative methods. 2. During idling and low speed operation, most of the power will come from battery, engine if is operating will be used to recharge battery, once car picks up a particular speed engine...

Anyone who watched his 37 ball hundred against Sri Lanka in 2000, the fastest ODI century then, isn’t likely to forget that innings in a hurry. Afridi held that record till New Year’s Day in 2014 when Corey Anderson bettered it by a solitary ball. Afridi is also a canny leg-spinner and not a part-timer. He has changed games with both bat and ball and has often proved to be India’s nemesis. Afridi currently plays only T20 cricket, having retired earlier from tests and from ODIs following the 2015 World Cup. ...Your T-Mobile myTouch 4G User guide Before you do anything else, please read this Charge the battery The battery in your phone hasn’t been charged yet. While your phone is charging, it’s important that you do not remove the battery pack. Doing so can damage your phone. Also, please don’t try to take your phone apart. (If you do, it may invalidate your warranty.) Choose a rate plan wisely Your phone can use up a lot of Internet bandwidth really quickly. Before you use your phone, we strongly recommend that you talk to T-Mobile about data rates. If you’re on a standard data plan, the costs could really add up. Switching to a flat-rate plan could be a lot cheaper. Know about privacy laws Some countries have strict laws about how and when you can record phone conversations. For example, you may need to tell the person you’re speaking to before you start recording. It’s a good idea to find out what the laws are where you live before you use your phone’s recording feature.
