The book I read for the classic book project was Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson. It has 272 pages from front to back. Treasure Island is a classic book written all the way back in 1881 and published in 1883.
The first main character is Jim Hawkins he is a teenage boy and son of an innkeeper. He is eager and enthusiastic to go to sea and hunt for treasure. Jim is often impulsive and hasty, but he exhibits increasing intuition and discernment. The second main character is Long John Silver the one-legged pirate, he is the cook of the voyage, but is very deceitful and wants what is best for him. The third main character is Dr. Livesey who was the doctor of the town where Jim’s inn was. Livesey is very kind, caring and will help anyone …show more content…
Once to the Island Jim sneaks onto the pirates boat and goes ashore. Once ashore Jim runs deep into the island where he meets a wild man named Ben Gunn. Ben was once part of Flint’s crew but was stranded on the island a year earlier. Jim takes Ben to the stockade where the captain and his men are staying. Silver and his men attack the stockade and injure Smollett, but Jim manages to sneak off. Jim finds Ben’s boat in the woods and uses it to cut the ship free leaving the pirates stranded on the island. Jim boards the ship but is injured by one of the watchmen whom he later …show more content…
Silver is having trouble control his men so shows them the map he got from Smollett. After following the map to the site, the pirates are appalled to see the sight has already been dug up. The pirates are about to revolt against Silver when Dr. Livesey, Ben Gunn, and the others attack the pirates, which scatter throughout the island. Jim, Silver and the others go to Ben’s cave where he has the treasure that he found months earlier. The men carry the loot back to the ship stranding all the pirates but Silver on the Island. One night Silver sneaks off with part of the treasure and is never heard from again. The rest of the men return home where Smollett retires from the sea, and Ben becomes a lodge-keeper. Jim never wants to go treasure-hunting again and suffers from nightmares about the sea and gold coins. The ending of the book was sort of a surprise for me since I thought the pirates would get the gold and be gone

Bloodlines of the Illuminati

...Bloodlines of Illuminati by: Fritz Springmeier, 1995 Introduction: I am pleased & honored to present this book to those in the world who love the truth. This is a book for lovers of the Truth. This is a book for those who are already familiar with my past writings. An Illuminati Grand Master once said that the world is a stage and we are all actors. Of course this was not an original thought, but it certainly is a way of describing the Illuminati view of how the world works. The people of the world are an audience to which the Illuminati entertain with propaganda. Just one of the thousands of recent examples of this type of acting done for the public was President Bill Clinton’s 1995 State of the Union address. The speech was designed to push all of the warm fuzzy buttons of his listening audience that he could. All the green lights for acceptance were systematically pushed by the President’s speech with the help of a controlled congressional audience. The truth on the other hand doesn’t always tickle the ear and warm the ego of its listeners. The light of truth in this book will be too bright for some people who will want to return to the safe comfort of their darkness. I am not a conspiracy theorist. I deal with real facts, not theory. Some of the people I write about, I have met. Some of the people I expose are alive and very dangerous. The darkness has never liked the light. Yet, many of the secrets of the Illuminati are locked up tightly simply because secrecy is a way...
