Kudler Fine Foods Client Interaction Strategy
Kathy Kudler founded Kudler in 1998. Kudler Fine Foods is a specialty food store located in San Diego, California. There are three retail locations and the headquarter administration location in San Diego. The three other locations are in La Jolla, Del Mar and Encitas California. The leadership team for Kudler Fine Foods has decided to implement a new Human Resources Information System (HRIS). This system will have an effect on not only the employees, the HR staff but the
management team as well. The affected parties will be the HR staff to include the Director of Administration and Human Resources, as well as the HR Assistant and the Admin staff in HR. The store managers will be major players in the change to the new system and the employees will be the most important players in the change as they will be using this system on a daily basis. Since the organization is set up with each store having managers that run each department with the HR staff centrally located at the San Diego/administration store, it will become increasingly important for every manager to help their staff to understand and learn how to properly use the new system. The HR staff will need to learn the system first and help train the management staff so they can teach all of their staff as well. The best plan to roll out this system is three-fold. It would consist of Laboratory training. This training involves small-group activities that are ultimately unstructured in which the staff would learn about how the change will work based on their own interactions in the group. Then after these groups there is the survey research and feedback. This is exactly what it sounds like. Then the final part of the plan is the managerial application. This
