Club IT is a nightclub that is owned and managed by Ruben Keys and Lisa Tejada. Working as musicians throughout college, both Ruben and Lisa had a comprehensive knowledge of the inner workings of clubs. The pair graduated with degrees in Business Administration and partnered up to open Club IT. The nightclub has undergone extensive remodeling which alluded customers to an atmosphere that is both dynamic and entertaining. Club IT is closed on Sundays; however, Tuesday through Thursday they have DJ’s that uses MP3 playlists that include a mixture of music from hip-hop, techno, and some Top 40’s. On Friday and Saturday, Club IT satisfies its customers with live music by some of the many bands it hires. Every month of the year, Club IT showcases a different type of musical act. For example, in January only local bands are hired and May is set aside for Country music. The building that houses Club IT is 6,000 square feet total. Club IT’s dance floor alone is 600 square feet which allows for enough room for everyone to dance comfortably. Club IT also has enough space for 220 customers to sit at either one of their 14 booths or 14 tables while resting their feet or enjoying one of their many appetizers and short order meals. There is a conveniently located bar that has four pouring stations to help ensure short waiting times
The main mission at Club IT is to offer live music, DJ’s, dance space and food and drinks that suit the lifestyles of their customers. Club IT pursues to build a community that meets frequently at this night club. Their clientele would be made up of adults ranging from age 21 and over. I would not put a maximum age to their clientele because this club would be appealing to anyone who enjoys the social nightlife. The different variety of music offered by the nightclub also helps bring in a more diverse clientele. A calendar has been developed so that is clientele can come to the club on a night in which their preferred music choice is playing to ensure the utmost customer satisfaction on any given night.
Club IT’s website has an employee portal login in which each employee has their own username and password. This portal allows employees to access information such as their personal information. This personal information will show their year-to-date wages, bonuses, vacation time accrued, sick leave accrued, where their paycheck is deposited, and their contact information. This site will also show information about new employees and employees of the month. There are links to forms such as accident reports, direct deposit requests, and bus pass purchases. Electronic handbooks are also available on this site so employees can know the health and safety and emergency protocols and procedures. This site also has ordering forms that shows all the food and drink ingredients and supplies used by the club. There are some links available for suppliers that offer online purchasing. There is a tab that shows what items are sold more frequently each week. It breaks the information up by how many of each item are sold, how much money it took to make that number of the product, and how much money was made from that product. This allows Club IT to get an insight of what their clientele’s like and dislike. The last link available on this internet site is for budgeting. This tab shows an income statement for each year. This allow the employee to see items such as how much total sells are made in any given year, how much money was spent to make those products, an how much profit was made by the annual sales.
In conclusion, Club IT has a mission to provide an atmosphere that will satisfy their clientele in every way when it comes to social entertainment. They wish to develop a loyal community that can meet regularly at their venue. They use information from reports such as sales to get additional insight on what their customers want and enjoy. They use online resources to order products and store budgeting and sales information for easy access. I feel that their strategy is very wise because by looking at what products are selling the most and what types of music events are attended by more customers; Club IT is able to get a clear picture of what their clientele is looking for in their social entertainment experience.
