...Project Proposal CMGT/410 BUSINESS MEMO IT TRAINING OUTLINE INTRODUCTION: There must be a methodology implemented for training and a strategy developed along with that methodology. These two aspects will be successful if we do not waste training resources. These resources will not be undermined once we address a number of issues The company policies, infrastructural issues, and cultural issues within the company may all need to be noted before a well-oiled training session can take place. It is, however, important to note that no matter the schema chosen for training, the path needs to be clear for the users. The training that the users will require will rely of their background, the purpose of the training, features of the system, any types of new user interfaces, etc. This project is an outline for a presentation given by a mixture of HR and IT professionals, streamlining company policy and procedures, for a company-wide compliance system. The head office will implement the training, with training conducted in a central location. This will be conducive to all the other satellite offices, making them easily reached by the managers that will be attending the training sessions. Training will be located on the Main Office location, to minimize training costs, with training divided over two days, each having one, 5-hour training period. POTENTIAL STAKEHOLDERS: The potential stakeholders include the members of the financial department and committee members of...

The budget of the project will determine any important factors that will impact the training project. The company of AER has given the opportunity for all workers to get the training required. The budget of the 2-day training session project will recover any expenses that occur before the initiation, during processes, and until completion of the project. Resources The first step of the project is to develop a budget. The budget management process involves the project manager in developing all the cost, estimates, and the total amount of money resources necessary for the implementation of all the activities. All the tasks and events are defined and stated in the WBS and Schedule in the lower section of the memorandum. Budget Development Budget development should cover the capital, and the operating expenses to ensure the success of the project completion. The project manager needs to gather all the funding requirements and then send a formal request to the sponsor. The sponsor needs to look first in the feasibility study, business case, and project charter before making any final decision. For developing a budget project sheet,...

...Week 4 Individual Assignment Michael J. Beard Jr. CMGT/410 June 18, 2012 Beth Shoults Abstract To achieve success in implementing a project, it is essential to evaluate the project thoroughly. Project evaluation is a method to assure that every party involved within the project sticks with the objective until it is completed, and guarantee that precise expectations are met. Being Huffman Trucking’s evaluator, our company concentrates in certain aspects such as work authorization, project control, performance analysis, project cost, scheduling, and budgeting. Week 4 Individual Assignment As projects are completed, evaluations would still be ongoing bi-monthly in order to continuously and appropriately maintain the company’s new system. These bi-monthly evaluations are not done as a precautionary method or early detection but as well as keeping the operation smoothly running (Westat, 2002). Every department or section of Huffman Trucking along with its headquarters would undergo the evaluation process through a bottom to top system. Through this thorough evaluation, a company’s personnel liable for a certain issue would be recognized. For example, managers would be evaluated similarity for their roles and responsibilities just like regular employee would be for each and every employee has a specific tasks and responsibilities to accomplish. ...Protecting information and all assets is critical in today’s time. The military faces three major types of threats: Employees, Zero-Day Exploits, and Cyber Espionage. It is imperative, due to the information and assets on-hand, that the military mitigates these risks. The first major threat, employees, is a very common threat to all organizations. Employees can be broken down into three types of threats which include, employees that are careless and untrained, employees that are tricked or fall prey to social engineering, and employees with malicious intentions. This will always be a potential threat because every organization requires employees to run and function. Protecting a network and data should be top priority for every organization. With policies, procedures, and training implemented, employees will have a better understanding of what is allowed on their organization’s network, how to properly navigate the system, and how to safeguard all information contained within the network. Policies and procedures also inform employees of what practices are in the event information is disclosed without authorization and any and all penalties that may go along with them. Having this information readily available to employees ensures they are aware the organization is serious about protecting all assets and information and will enforce legal action if needed. Since employees are the individuals that have access to all information, some of which is sensitive, they need to understand...

...Memo To: Mark Trask and Stakeholders From: Yavonda Tingle Date: June 29, 2013 Purpose: Epic Software Post Mortem Introduction This past few weeks was like no other we have ever had at St. Anthony Hospital. This was the first chance that the whole group members of the team were required to complete every major component of the Epic Software process. We as a team under took certain activities that require a lot of time for every small return, and then we at times did not manage our resources effectively. But we did have many successes, and detailing both success and failings. And this is the purpose of this report. Below is a summary of the things we learned on this journey into installing Epic here at St. Anthony Hospital. Management Management was not a problem for this group. The group was made up of over 50 people meaning that decision making was done by consensus. This allowed us to be more flexible with most of the assigning work to people. When one or more persons were assigned too much work it was common practice for another one to be added to level the work out. Things like this raised the group morale and productivity. Communication Management saw that communication between each group was great through this process of the project, even during the meetings with each group. By making it more efficient by putting the action items on the Epic web page, sectioned: OKC St. Anthony Hospital issues, after each meeting with different groups. Management was...

...PROJECT PROPOSAL DENNIS RAWSON CMGT/410 04-29-13 JIM FORGATH Project Proposal The company I current work for is in the works for a new system to be rolled out company wide. I have been asked to assist with this process any way that I can. The company is about to change the way everything is processed, stored, and calculated. The existing system in use now is 100 percent Linux based and the system that is being introduced into the company is going to a Linux/Windows hybrid. The old system relied on all typed in commands and takes a long time for new employees to get a good grasp on all the commands. The new system will be mostly icon based with only the high level users needing to start using commands for backdoor access. The new system should be done in many different stages. First the rollout will be done in only a few local locations close to the home office where if a problem arises IT was close by. Once this is complete the rollout will be taken to some test locations for a bigger test run. The company already has test locations for product testing and I would suggest using these for rollout as well. These locations will already be used to testing and will not stress when things go wrong. This rollout is going to take a large amount of time possibly years to complete and no matter how much planning is done there will be new complications every day. Following the steps laid out in the remainder of this paper will help this. Planning Phase Training...
