The mayor is so crazy about the environment, that he organized kids to pick up every can of DDT in the town and they buried the cans in wet cement near the town dump. One day, the mayor mindlessly left his hat on his porch. Cock Robin made a nest in his hat. Then the next day Mrs. Robin decorated the nest with a yellow piece of cloth. The mayor got really excited and said that they were living in the “clean air” of Saddleboro.
