Having a strong ethical foundation is a must when starting a new company in today’s world. As a new company you want build with great principles and morals. My new company would have strong values that a consumer could look at and respect. These ethics would help me to present my company with ease and the comfort of knowing I stand for what is morally right. Strong ethics are an essential part of creating a new, successful company. A proper list of specific, ethical standards will help the employees understand what your company stands for. A major standard for my new company would be no drug use at all. I would require drug screenings before being hired as well as random urine screening from time to time to make sure people are remaining true to my company brand. I will also require a criminal background check before hiring. I would want to know the person or persons that I plan on hiring to represent my company. Lastly I would have a dress code. It would not be anything too strict but an individual’s appearance is an important aspect because physical appearance is generally what people get their first impression from. These rules would help me build a company I would be proud to represent. A company can’t succeed without rules. Rules are emplaced for an individual’s benefit. It is a physical reference of what or what not to do. Drugs or alcohol while working would equal automatic termination because there is no place for an unprofessional individual in my company. Professionalism is a must, no matter what. The customer is always right even if they are not right because these are the people that keep my company working. If you are late without a valid excuse numerous times please don’t bother coming back because I will not tolerate this behavior. I am studying to become a radiologist technician and this is the base and guidelines for my career. These guidelines make sure that everyone in this profession knows what is right and what is wrong in this line of work. Following good common sense and treating others the way that you would want to be treated is good ethical behavior.
