...Proof of God’s Existence Charles Porter COM 200 Final Argumentative Paper Is the proof of God necessary? Proofs are used to prove, using a deductive method, that a given necessarily exists. Proof is often like geometry there are given and certain rules is used to arrive at a conclusion of why that given is true. The proof for the existence of ‘God’ has an ultimate goal to prove that God logically and ‘necessarily exists’. If the proof is successful, any rational person cannot find fault in the claim that God does exist. Within the proofs ‘god’ must necessarily exist not just contingently exist. An example of contingent existing would be a balloon is in my hand; prior to making this balloon the balloon did not exist and after the balloon pops and disintegrates it too will not exist. This balloon has contingent existence and it is not necessary. The proof that God exists must be a necessity and should be stronger than evidence that ‘God’ does exist. Something had to create the universe because it did not always exist, therefore God must exist. Many people dispute, thus saying that there is not actual proof that God does exist but that is where faith comes in the picture. Which argument for the existence of God is strongest and why? There are a few strong arguments for the existence of God. First there is the ontological argument which states that it is quite likely that a flawless being...

Taking the time out to evaluate all the things that you are doing wrong within your marriage, by using active listening skills, communication skills, and effective interpersonal skills, will help you both to have a long lasting marriage. Managing your emotions mean expressing them in a manner that is appropriate to the circumstances (Hybels, Weaver II, 1986, p.157). Marriage is a partnership. Never try to do things alone. Communicate with one another about things. Money is always the prime factor in marriage arguments. Do not keep secrets from one another. It is wrong and in cases of marriage it is betrayal. When one of you is faced with a problem, you both are faced with a problem. When you both said you “I dos” you gave up the “I”s for...

...INT1 Task 3 Do more expensive paper towels absorb more water than less expensive products? By: Gregory M. Herrin Project design Plan When consumers are in the store to purchase paper towels, there are numerous options and brands to choose from; all claiming to be the best product with the most absorbency. How does a consumer choose the best option for the best price? The goal of this experiment will be to determine if higher priced paper towels are more absorbent than the less expensive paper towels on the market. Four relatively common brands will be tested for their water absorbency: Viva ($0.049/square foot), Bounty ($0.046/square foot), Brawny ($0.044/square foot) and Sparkle ($0.024/square foot). Ultimately, the experiment should show which of the commonly used household paper towels is more water absorbent and if price equals value for these products. Literature Review A number of experiments have been completed to demonstrate and/or test the absorbency of paper towels. Len Penzo dot Com, a personal finance blog, completed an experiment on which brand of paper towel was the best value. They tested six different brands of paper towels for absorbency and scrub strength: Sparkle, Bounty, Bounty Basic, Scott, Shoppers Value, Viva and Kirkland Signature. To measure the absorbency, the paper towels were dipped into glasses of water until saturated and then the water squeezed from the towels was measured. To measure the scrub strength, the towels were wrapped...

They are afraid that in the future poor communication may ruin their marriage if they do not seek help. Effective listening and communication is they key component that will in the end make or break a relationship. The first part of the letter to the couple will focus upon how words have the power to create and affect attitudes, behavior, and perception and explain to the couple the understanding upon how perceptions, emotions, and nonverbal expression affect interpersonal relationships. ...Write a paragraph (200-250 words) of instructions on the writing process for future COM/155 students or inexperienced academic writers. When writing a paper many need to follow instructions to complete the whole essay. These seven little steps can help tremendously. First, thing you have to decide a topic for your paper. You should think about the paper you are expected to produce. The next thing to do is to create an outline for your paper. When you create an outline you are putting your ideas about the topic, this outline will be changed more than once and that is a good thing. After, writing your topic and doing an outline you should write your thesis statement. Your thesis statement tells the reader what the essay will be about and what point you will be making. Then you should start on the body paragraphs, in the body paragraphs they need to include all of your main points, and your sub points. Each body paragraph should include supporting points, which elaborate on each main idea. The next two you should do is start on your introduction and your conclusion. When writing the introduction you need to attract the reader’s attention. Then you need to add more sentences with the attention grabber, and then finish strong with your thesis statement. Now write your conclusion, it sums up all of your points and doing your final perspective about your topic. The conclusion needs about three or four sentences to finish your paper strong. When looking throughout these steps they may...

...Katherine Cole COM 155 Write a 150 to 200 word paragraph describing the steps of your current writing approach. For example, how do you approach writing an assignment for a class? In addition, outline the ways your process differs from or is similar to the writing process outlined in your texts. This paragraph should follow the structure of an effective paragraph. Underline the topic sentence and bold the concluding sentence in the paragraph. Use complete sentences. Post your assignment, Review the additional resources I will be taking the time to explain my current writing approach. The first thing that I do is make sure I have a quiet area to work in and a sound mind so that I can focus on my writing. I usually use my laptop to write because pen and paper makes me nervous. I begin writing what I know and like to discuss, which is called discovering and brainstorming. Then after I have discovered and brainstormed, I begin narrowing down what I want to write about such as: Topic sentence and supportive details. After finalizing my topic sentence, I move forward and compose my rough draft. By drafting what I have written, it allows me to add thoughts and to subtract the unnecessary supporting details. Then after I have done that, I revise the draft by rearranging ideas and reshaping sentences to make a smooth and flowing paper. After carefully examining the paper to see if it contains any errors of grammar, spelling, or punctuation for the last time, I then proceed to write...

...Bus 200 Final Exam Paper V.Armstrong Bus 200 Strayer University Professor J. Wood March 22, 2010 Briefly discuss: Do manager have an ethical obligation to step in when they are aware of social loafing in a self-managed team? Why or why not? Do other team members have an obligation to try to curtail the social loafing? Why or why? Managers do have that obligation to step in when there is a social loafing. It would not be fair to the others on the group or other employees. Why a manager should step in, is because once a group is assigned to a project and two or more that are social loafing will make the group fall back and the project will not be successful. I believe that other team members should not follow a social loafing; it will only bring the group down. Why, if the others follow a social loafer or loafing the project that was assigned to the group will have less information and the project would not be completed in a timely manner. Most projects given by a manager or from keep a social loafing busy “(1) make individual contributions to a group identifiable, (2) emphasize the valuable contributions of individual members, (3) keep the group size at an appropriate level” (Jones, 2009, pp. 553-554). Sexton (2008) says of course, everyone enjoys a reward and so the final advice for avoiding the dangers of social loafing is to create a system for measuring individual performance and rewarding those who excelled...

Palavras-chave: Crise Financeira; Crise da Dívida; Política Fiscal Abstract: The financial crisis of 2007 brought the discussion of fiscal policy. This was used as a way for governments to mitigate the potential social and economic impacts of the crisis, since only the monetary policy would not be effective. Historically, banking crises engender increases in public debt, not only for the relief operations, but also by the policies of government primary spending and/or, as in the recent crises, by the purchase of the “toxic” financial assets. The discretionary fiscal policy is then discussed, since it is essential, it is...
