* A message to the technical support about an employee's computer that has been infected by a virus. For a virus infected computer, you should send a very detailed email explaining all of the symptoms and glitches that the computer is experiencing. Be very specific on when these things happen so that technical support can better identify the problem and help come up with a solution. On top of the email I feel that calling technical support should also be involved so that they can walk you through some trouble shooting and see if it something that can be fixed without sending someone out. * A message from HR to all employees, explaining the changes to the company health plan in the coming year.
For health care plan changes, a meeting should definitely be held to go over and discuss the changes that will occur. There should be a document of some sort handed to all employees to take home as well, and maybe a friendly email reminder bulleting the things that were discussed during the meeting in case anyone wasn't able to attend. * A message from the CEO of a large company to employees, explaining negative news regarding the company appearing on national news channels. Coming from a CEO, the best communication should be a combination of a mass email to employees and maybe a short video of the CEO explaining the situation so that the employees will feel more connected. When you are trying to reach a mass amount of employees it can be hard to get the information to everyone. A video with the CEO’s face will make the employees feel that they are cared about. * A message from a gym manager to clients about temporarily closing the pool in the gym. For a pool closing, the information isn't vital. A simple email to clients and maybe a bulletin printed and taped to the door will suffice. Something simple and informative placed somewhere where the clients will be able to see it easily. * A message from a professional association to members about the coming annual conference. For the annual conference, a short but detailed email will do just fine. Make sure to keep it short and informative and easy to skim for the information needed, as most people will not want to read anything with heavy information.
