Unbroken
Unbroken was a very inspirational book. It was a book about a kid named Louie Zamperini who was an olympic runner who later was drafted into the military. Louie went through many challenges as a runner and military personnel he at the time set the world record for the most days alive at sea. He was then captured and tortured by an officer named bird who was sadistic and loved torturing POW during WWII. Unbroken really helps me with the connection of how lucky I am to be currently living in peaceful time. This summer I went on a canoe trip with my very close cousin Derek. Derek is about 28 years old and we went canoeing down a swamp in florida for 6 hours straight. I really enjoyed this time but was really able to connect with Louie
