My heart is pounding, my skin is dripping with sweat, and all I am thinking in the back of my head is, please, someone save me. Well, what if the pilot had a gun? We already think of the pilots as our protectors; we trust them with our lives. Is it that much of a stretch to think of them as our last line of defense against crazed lunatics and terrorists?
