Battle of Lexington & Concord

In 1764 the Lexington War started with Lexington and the British. The British had a plan to go to Lexington and capture 2 people. The wanted to capture Samuel Adams and John Hancock. After they captured them two people they went to Concord to get gun powder. Americans somehow found out about that plan and spread the word. There were two light near the church in North Boston that said the Boston were attacking from sea. Paul Revere went on a horse to warn the people the British were coming. The minutemen fought inspired many Patriot's to take weapons from the British. The British had a surprise victory.
Lexington fought the British in 1775 to start off the revolutionary war. He spent 2 years studying to be in the militia in Italy. He was sent to the 7 year war by Germany. He was apart of the German militia for 3 years. He then went to Fir Henry Clinton that he didn't like too much. In 1761 he was sent to the 12th regiment of foot. He was so skilled he was noticed by many people. He participated in the Minden war in 1759. In July 1768 he married Jemima Jones. They had 2 children. Back to what he did during war. He fought until he defeated the others. In 1798, Cornwallis defeated the Irish and limited the invasion on French. He drove general Washington out of New York. That was a big accomplishment. Clinton informed Cornwallis to take a fort by the river. When he arrived they agreed to send more troops and supplies. Washington heard Cornwallis was coming so they started to plan a attack. He wound up surrendering because he didn't want the troops that were coming to get hurt. They sent the troops after the surrender. This wasn't his worse loss of his
