According to both Danielle Tumminio and David Brooks, many college-aged individuals lack skills to make moral decisions. Brooks argues on the side of students, “not been given the resources-by schools, institutions and families”(Brooks). Tumminio agrees with this, but discusses how the student are “deeply curious” and “wanting to know what it means to live a good life” (Tumminio). She works with student on the college-level and is able to see how they tackle moral and ethical decisions. Because she teaches a religious class, she is more inclined to be with student who are religious or have a “good” moral foundation. Brooks, on the other hand, interviewed 230, 18 to 23 year olds from all across the country.
