In conclusion, Chernobyl and Fukushima nuclear catastrophes had similarities and differences in terms of aftermath control and effects on human beings and environment. Consequently, there were an improvement in the nuclear power policies, including improvement of nuclear safety, training and education of power plant staff and location of the
