The books “Lockdown” and “Right behind you” have very interesting plots that are unique. Even though they have many differences these two books have many similarities. They share stories of two very different guys that share similar feelings. These two characters both lost someone they cared about in this case it was a friend. They felt guilty for the death of their friends. They felt empty, and sorrow in their lives. They never knew their lives would change drastically so fast. While both deaths were unintentional “Kip” the character from “Right behind you” never meant to kill his friend while he soaked a baseball glove on gasoline.Then theres “Alex” the character from “Lockdown” was at the wrong place at the wrong time. Sure he was a bully but he never knew how…show more content… Kip got really mad so he threw gasoline on bobby and turned him on fire he only tried to burn the glove bobby got but accidently burned bobby. bobby was taken to the hospital and was pronounced dead 3 days later. Kip then went to a juvenile ward for violent offenders. Kip was there for a few years and then his Dad married Carrie. She then became his step mom. Kip finally got out of juvie and had a new name Wade. Wade went to a new school in indiana he had a good life after that he was a great swimmer at his school he had a girlfriend and lived his life normally with his dad stepmom and girlfriend. until he accidently told all of his friends his real name and who he really is. He then had to move again. This time he didn't tell all of his new friends who he actually was Part of this might be because Kip/Wade’s relationship with Sam was underdeveloped.
