The two principles, both from the NASW Code of Ethics and the IFSW Ethics in Social Work address the reason for contacting an organization. As social workers, it is our job to make the resources we are referring and recommending our clients to be relevant for the type of service(s) they are seeking. The resources we provide should be beneficial based on the needs of clients.
