 What were the suggested next steps in your MyFoundationsLab® Learning Path?
I took the test and at the end of the test on what to work on next, it just said congratulations you have mastered all available topics. I took the test twice and got the same results both times so I’m not sure what I need to be working on next.
 How do the skills apply to your academic life?
I think the writing skills apply in your life in many ways. Using the correct punctuations and spelling can be very important in your academic life. If you do not know how to spell or punctuate, you could lose points on your homework etc. Regardless I think that being able to write full sentences, punctuate, and spell are very important in your academic life.
 How do the skills apply to your professional life?
I think that these skills apply in your professional life by how you present yourself. If you cannot write or spell when you turn in an application or something, you most likely will not get the job. People do tend to judge you by how you write. If you turn in an application and you are a good writer and speller, than the person reviewing your application tends to have a better interpretation of who you are and how smart you are. People might think that you might not be able to do a certain job if you can’t even spell.

 Were you surprised by the results? Why or why not?
I was a little surprised by the results because I thought there would have been something I needed to work on. I know I’m pretty good at spelling, I mean I’m not saying I’m perfect but I thought there would at least been one topic I needed to work on. I was just surprised when I took the test twice and got the same results both times.
