Michael: Good evening and welcome to the ‘The today Show’ and thank you for joining us tonight Melbourne! Tonight we have a very special guest, he has just come from directing his play ‘Cosi Fan Tutte’ which has been a huge success, can we all give a round of applause for Lewis!!
Lewis walks on stage, thanking everyone in the room that are clapping, he takes a seat opposite to Michael.
Lewis: Thank you Michael, appreciate you having me here today!
Michael: My pleasure Lewis, now before I get into the more serious questions, can you just give our audience a brief summary into what Cosi Fan Tutte is.
Lewis: Of course, Cosi Fan Tutte is an opera and is set in the city of Naples, Italy where two fellows named Guglielmo and Ferrando are in a coffee shop and they are wanting to test their girl’s fidelity. They met this old fellow named Don Alfonso who told them this plan and it was to pretend to fight in the war. Instead of actually going to war, they disguise themselves as Albanians and ‘woo’ the girls. Henry who is about the same age, was a former lawyer who is now a patient and has been for most of his adulthood. Then there’s Doug who aged between 20-30 and has a liking for starting fires believe it or not and he hasn’t been in any institution for that long. There’s Cherry who is 25-35 years old and has been in a mental institution for a while, Julie is aged in the twenties and this is her first time in a mental institution for drug dependency. There’s Ruth who has more of an obsessive personality, who is in and out of mental institutions. And finally Zach who is the musician of the group and has moved from in and out of mental
