...History of 60th ADA 60th ADA Regiment started out as the 60th Artillery regiment under the Coast Artillery Corps. This unit was brought up on December 23, 1917. This unit was comprised of Active, and National Guard Soldiers. They were active from world war one through the Cold War period to the Present. Their Coat of Arms consists of a longhorn cattle skull, a Spotlight, a Star, and a wall. 60th ADA’s motto states “We Rule The Heavens” or Coelis Imperamus. 60th ADA Regiment was set to fight with the American Expeditionary Forces on the Western Front in World War; This conflict was called the Battle of Saint-Mihiel. They also participated in the Meuse-Argonne Offensive. After World War 1, 60th ADA became part of USAFFE’s Harbor Defenses of Manila and Subic Bays. They were tasked to provide air defense over Manila Bay and the southern section of the Bataan Peninsula. At this time they were fitted with 3-inch guns, which have a vertical range of 8,200 meters. 60th also had 37mm Guns and .50 caliber machine guns. One battery stationed in Fort Wint fell under attack and surrendered to the Japanese the december 5th following Pearl Harbor. August 1st, 1946 60th Coastal Artillery Regiment was redesignated as 60th Antiaircraft Artillery Automatic Weapons Battalion. They were stationed at Fort Bliss, Texas. As part of the Indian government’s efforts to make medicine accessible to as many people as possible, in February 2013 India’s Patent Office revoked Pfizer’s patent for the cancer drug Sutent and granted a domestic manufacturer, Cipla, the right to produce a cheaper generic version. India’s Intellectual Property Appellate Board has since set aside the decision and has directed the Patent Office to reassess the case. In China, meanwhile, the government has been slashing drug prices to reduce health care costs. Beijing established price ceilings on essential drugs in 2009 and lowered the ceiling by around 30% in 2011, and it has pledged to expand the list of essential drugs to more than 500 medications by 2014. Income poverty means a situation when the threshold of 0.6 of median income is not achieved. The analysis of a broader definition of poverty is based on identification and assessment of material deprivation factors, including: financial stress, housing conditions, availability of consumer durables and basic needs. Data sources are based EU-SILC dataset. Presented analysis is focused on selected EU countries, namely Czech Republic, Finland, France, Spain and United Kingdom. While having his coffee, he scrolls through some recent issues of The Wall Street Journal on his iPad. A headline from one current story jumps out at him, “Gasoline prices have declined for 88 consecutive days, the longest streak of falling prices on record.”1 The slide in gas prices, which began in September 2014, also happened to coincide with the slide in Tesla Motors (TSLA) stock. With increasing oil, and therefore gas, prices, people had an incentive for purchasing electric cars. Now with gas prices drop- ping, the incentive to buy would start to become less of one, and the demand for the product would probably drop. This was one of the challenges facing Musk on this New Year’s Day. In addition to hav- ing to contend with lower selling costs due to rising production, Tesla was also confronting increasing competition and economic headwinds that were likely going to lower the demand for electric cars. Musk is a serial entrepreneur longing to leave a legacy, and he believes that Tesla just might be the company that will help him leave his mark.
