Number 4: Smartphones for upper management
Our company currently provides all executives with Internet enabled smartphones. In order to save money we have decided to expand the smartphone program to all employees who currently have a company cell phone and laptop. This would include: the ten senior managers who have priority, the 100 employees who currently have a company cell and laptop, and the fifteen employees currently in training and are expected to need the service by the projects launch.
The Scope of the Project
The scope in this case is very important, because before making a decision the company wants to acknowledge the cost of this expansion. The scope of the project is also to decide a deadline on how long it will take for the expansion to be companywide. The project should only take a month to encompass the 135 employees in the organization.
The Needs of the Stakeholders
It is safe to say that the needs of the stakeholders in this project vary depending on their job function in the company. So therefore the stakeholders are the: the company that will provide the service, the group who will maintain the project, the ten senior managers who have priority, the 100 employees who currently have a company cell and laptop, and the fifteen employees currently in training. The only and sole priority that each stakeholder has is that the company saves money in the long term on the plan.

Recently there has been a decline in employee morale. Senior management thinks that a new employee incentive program may boost employee morale (University of Phoenix, 2012, para. 3). This paper will include the work breakdown structure, activities, the sequenced activity diagram, a human resources plan, and a communication plan. The communication methods identified in the communication plan will be evaluated by identifying the communication tools and techniques most effective for the audience, and an explanation of why the methods of communication identified are most effective.
