Controller * Controller manages the basic functions of the CPU, as well controlled communication between the motherboard and other functions of the CPU * Communication between the Controller and the ALU is the Internal bus 32 bit wide data bus * Communication between the cache and the ALU and the Controller is the backside bus * Cache uses SRAM static ram, it’s faster but more expensive and it holds memory without being refresh. * There are three types of Cache L1, L2, and L3. * L1 cache is on the processor chip. * L2 cache is inside the processor housing but not on the processor chip. * L3 cache is inside the processor housing but further away from the processor chip * ALU Logical Unit: After you enter data through the input device it is stored in the primary storage unit. The actual processing of the data and instruction are performed by Arithmetic Logical Unit. The major operations performed by the ALU are addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, logic and comparison. Data is transferred to ALU from storage unit when required. After processing the output is returned back to storage unit for further processing or getting stored * CONTROLLED UNIT Control Unit, which acts like the supervisor seeing that things are done in proper fashion. Control Unit is responsible FOR Cordinating various operations using time signal. The control unit determines the sequence in which computer programs and instructions are. Things like processing of programs stored in the main memory, interpretation of the instructions and issuing of signals for other units of the computer to execute them. It also acts as a switch board operator when several users access the computer simultaneously. Thereby it coordinates the activities of computer’s peripheral equipment as they perform the input and output.

...For 10 little ducks, he needs double the food, double the hay and double the hands. Double Ducks is a level one book for children age of 3 and up. I choice this book because it has a cute and fun story that children will have more interested in reading. Also, I like the author use ducks (something children have for daily basic) to put in the story, and there is a cute boy show his daily task to take care of animals. However, the book is not only about basic math concept but also include the love for animals and friendship. After reading the book, I would have two activities follow up for children to do. One activity is building a block tower between 1 and 10 blocks tall. I will ask children to count the number of blocks and help building a second tower using the same number of blocks. Then, let children find the total number of blocks it took to build both towers. Second activity is double game by 2 dices. Children start with 10 points. Then, each of children will take each turn to roll dices. If doubles are rolled, the player win 1 point, but if not then lose 1 point. The first kid to get 20 or more points is the...

Coffie Shop

...Block Coffee Shop 10 One Way Blvd Campus, MD 20010 05/17/2016 Dear Sir/Madam: I ‘m a frequent client to Block Coffee Shop. I been coming to your coffee shop for over a year. I lived in a tiny apartment across the street and the coffee shop very convenience for me. I come during the day to get my cup coffee and donut and during evening I come by to study and eat some healthy snack such as your delicious snack bars and smoothie. I love coming to your coffee shop. The feeling of the atmosphere is grooving and always exciting making sometimes hard to focus on school work. The only thing that is missing its having a printer in the store. The coffee store will make more profit by adding a printer. It will bring in more new customer from the neighborhood. People would be able to print and buy coffee and snacks. This will increase sells and the printer and accessories will pay by it selves without putting money from the store. However without having in store printer I will have to go to a distance to be able to print. Sometimes I have to walk 5 blocks to ABC coffee shop or to take the bus to the school library. I have to buy my coffee and printing somewhere else. This can cause the coffee shop to lose clients and money to another coffee shop whom might have this types of convenience to its customer. I urge you to think and consider my request for the neighborhood coffee shop, so my time and money can be spent in your store. Sincerely, Francis Smith Your...

Gs1140 Problem Solving

...A mental block is an instance in which someone cannot keep their train of thought or remember something that they should. There are many types of mental blocks and we will list some of them, along with examples, in this assignment. Perceptual Blocks A perceptual block causes a disturbance in the way a problem is perceived. Below are types of perceptual blocks and examples of each. • Stereotyping is when something is perceived in a certain way for so long that it is difficult to view it in another way. For example; if you were stranded in the wilderness and only had your clothes, but had an opportunity to catch fish in a stream, you might be able to pull threads from your clothing to make a fishing line. But you may be so used to only wearing clothes that you may not think of this as a possibility. • Limiting the problem unnecessarily is when you set unrequired limitations on yourself. Examples of this can be found in many riddles, which trick you into tightening the scope of your thinking so that you miss the obvious. For example, what gets wet when it’s drying? • Saturation or Information Overload is when you have to have too much information at your disposal tom utilize it efficiently. You might end up spending more time organizing your information than using it to solve your problem. An example of this could be found in computer programming, when an input is bad and you have to look through the entire code to find it. The amount of symbols perceived could be an overload...
