Creative Intelligence and Leadership Once the marketing team at Kudler Fine Foods brought our management team their recommendations regarding moving Kudler Foods ahead of the competition, our management team went to work. The first thing was to identify the strengths within our management group, and leverage on the experience Kudler had. With any organization, it is vitally important that a company’s vision be implemented flawlessly. Each member of management took a creative intelligence test. This test was to show the type of inner drive each manager possessed and how that inner driver would help achieve the goals Kudler Fine Foods expected out of the leaders.
The first plan was for Kudler Fine Foods to become nationwide. The second plan; Kudler wanted to establish a contract with the local farmers to ensure the organic foods would be available if requested by customers. Third, the Kudler wanted to upgrade to more modern technology. Moving to modern technology would help them stay competitive and reduce cost.
Yolanda was profiled as imaginative. Ron took the test, and he also profiled as imaginative. Brenda test profiled showed she is innovative. In our reading we discovered that an imaginative creative person is very insightful. These individuals brought strengths in risk taking, leaps of imagination, independent in their thinking, willing to go against the status quo. These individuals were open-minded, and use humor to convey ideas. The Innovative creative person is one who is inquisitive, persistent, experimental, analytical, and handles complexity with ease (Finding your Creative Potential, 2004).
Strategy
Yolanda and Ron believe with their ability to think outside the normal perimeters would prove valuable in assisting Kudler with its plans on becoming nationwide. The two managers believe that to be successful with this strategy Kudler must be
