In order to ensure that unique patients are able to get healthy, they need nursing care plans as unique as they are. This means assessment and evaluation of each patient before and during care. Nancy Roper's desire to become a nurse started in childhood, and as a result of her experiences and education, she, along with two of her colleagues, developed the Roper-Logan-Tierney Model of Nursing to assess patients' level of independence and provide the best individualized care for them. COMPONENTS/CONCEPTS OF THE MODEL Living is a complex process which we undertake using a number of activities that ensure our survival. The current model seeks to define 'what living means, and categorizes these discoveries into Activities of Daily Living (ADL). According to Roper, in a given circumstance, people are able to perform daily activities of living independently but when disease or hindrances occur, the nurse can use these activities of living to be able to assess the patient and identify interventions that can support independence in areas that may prove difficult or impossible for the individual on their own. Should I change my perspective altogether or accept the existence of multiple perspectives or simply give into the simplicity of ignorance and indifference towards the so called father of the nation. I feel perplexed and drained by the amount of literature that has been written by Gandhi and even larger amounts that have been written as criticism to the former. It is the responsibility of ever member of the school staff to report any suspected abuse to their superiors at the school district office. It doesn’t matter how small the problem may be to the staff member it is part of their responsibility to provide their students with a safe environment and protection. If the staff doesn’t report any suspected abuse they can be sent to jail or fined. If a student comes to any staff member and reports sexual abuse that has taken place, it is not considered hearsay, and it is considered admissible in court. To find a way to retain or increase energy levels in the workplace, the frequency and correlation of micro-breaks (non-work and work related) taken by a group of knowledge workers with vitality and fatigue was investigated. Firstly, the methodology in using subjective vitality was largely accurate in measuring the complicated term. The accuracy of the seven-item subjective vitality scale used has been proven in a validation paper by Bostic, McGartland and Hood (2000). Results showed high factor loadings (>0.60), indicative that scale was consistent and reliable. However, the relationship between vitality and fatigue was not explained. If vitality is the enthusiasm that an employee has, the lack of it is due to fatigue – indication that they are merely flip sides. Improvements to data collection can be to use observational research by monitoring employees through a camera or to obtain colleagues’ assessment. While there is high cost in doing so, representative data can be obtained, eliminating the problem of inaccurate self-evaluation.
