About four years ago in the summer, I started doing CrossFit. I wanted to lose some weight and get in shape, but at that time I never knew how CrossFit would become so important to me, and how it has become part of my life.
Before I joined a CrossFit box - how CrossFit gyms are called - I played basketball in my school. I wanted to do physical training, so I would be more competent and athletic for the basketball season.A friend of mine and I, who also wanted to try Crossfit, went to the nearest box we could find and did the trial class. I felt horrible and amazing at the same time. Horrible because I felt exhausted after doing the workout, but amazing because the sensation I felt after doing giving everything I could be something unique that I never felt before. After that day I knew I could get really good at the sport so I signed up at that box and started training approx three to four times a day.

I joined a new box and started going four days a week after school. I decided that if this was now part of my life I wanted to compete and become the best at it. Now about two years later, I have competed in many local and international competitions, I train both mornings and afternoons five days a week, I have become one if not the best athlete among the people from my box, I became a certified Crossfit Level 1 Trainer and I am in a good physical shape. Without CrossFit I am nothing, it is what has shaped me as a person today. I have become more disciplined, healthier and stronger thanks to Crossfit. This journey has been amazing and will continue to be. I am aspiring to greater things, to become the fittest on earth and to continue to grow as a
