CRT/205 WEEK 1 ASSIGNMENT INDIVIDUAL: WHAT IS CRITICAL THINKING MRS. BARBARA STEARS
Critical thinking is as the old saying goes “thinking about thinking”, we use critical thinking almost in everything we do day to day, such as figuring out what we want to wear for that day. When we use critical thinking we are deciding whether or not criteria are of good sense of logical. If we were given a project such as designing something or evaluate something or do anything that involves coming up with a conclusion, you would have to stop and really think more critically of what it is you are going to design, how you’re going to deign it and whether or not the design will meet all the requirements that is expected. A lot of things need to happen when you’re using critical thinking especially if you were required to give a design especially at work. Examples of the steps you would take when using critical thinking would be taking notes, considering other designs and not just the one that just pops up in your head and as well as making sure that all the specs meet company requirements. Your basic goal when it comes to critical thinking is to be able to come up with a decision that is not only correct but wise. It is real easy for us to be able to just make a quick decision when it comes to any decision we face in life, which can have severe consequences if the wrong decision is made, but if we can take the time to evaluate our objective using standards or rationality then I think it would be hard not to come up with the correct
