This assignment will discuss how members of staff at nurseries can work together to create a positive ethos by providing a safe, secure and happy environment for children. It will also look at how staff can support children’s progression by meeting their individual needs at different stages of their development and how sometimes it may be in the best interests of the child for settings to work in partnership with external agencies to ensure children receive the best out of their experience at nursery.
Demonstrating a positive ethos right from the beginning within childcare settings is of paramount importance, this is in order for the environment and the individuals working within that environment appeal to service users, including parents of the young children.
