As a Cypress College student and a member of the marketing team, we announce the cheering event for the Baseball team of Cypress College, Chargers who advanced to state championship semi-final. We are currently hired to create a float for the Rose Bowl that cheers for the team and represents the spirit of Cypress College. Right now we have four members of this project and about three weeks to finish it. Therefore, we need to action more quickly in order to follow the schedule. We divide each part to each person, and make a meeting every two days to see the process of what we were doing. For the first two days, all members will collect ideas from sources on the Internet. Trevor Hoffman competed at Cypress College as a shortstop for the Chargers. He than transferred to the University of Arizona, where he led his team in hitting with a .371 batting Average. He was than selected by the Cincinnati Reds in the eleventh round with the 288th overall pick of the 1989 for the Minor League Baseball draft. He was drafted as shortstop but was later convinced and converted into a pitcher in 1991 to maximize his potential. He went on the have a very successful illustrious career in Major League baseball for eighteen years. He played for three different teams in the Major Leagues, which were mainly with San Diego Padres for the bulk of his career. He also played a few years for the Florida Marlins and the Milwaukee Brewers. Throughout his career he had a Major League record of six hundred and one saves and a few other pitching records at the time, which led him to become a seven-time All Star pitcher while he was with the San Diego Padres. This year in 2016, Trevor Hoffman became eligible to be considered for the Hall of Fame and is hopeful to be inducted this upcoming year in 2017. Due to the success of the former Alumni we reached out to his manager and put the offer on the table and let it be known how honored we would be if he were to be apart of our float for the Rose bowl Parade. He accepted the offer without hesitation and because he competed and was apart of Cypress College he offered to do it without any charge for his time. The only obstacles to handle were where he was going to stay, his transportation, and how much that would cost. We decided to book him a room at one of the top hotel near the Rose Bowl, which was the Westin Pasadena Hotel obviously in Pasadena California. This room would cost $679 for an Executive room from December 31, 2016 to January 03, 2016 for him and his wife . The cost of Trevor
