Based on the assessments, the Developmental Assessment of Young Children (DAYC-2) and the Assessment of Basic Language and Learning Skills Revised (ABLLS-R), administered by the ASIP team in March 2016, Alejandro’s results reveal deficits within a number of areas. In regards to the DAYC-2, Alejandro displayed difficulty on 4 out of 5 developmental domains (i.e. Cognition, Communication, and Physical Development). Alejandro’s age at the time of testing was 29 months, the DAYC-2 revealed that Alejandro functioned between the age range of 23-32 months (please refer to DAYC-2 scores above) on all 5 developmental domains. The ABLLS-R’s results revealed Alejandro’s scores have reached a maximum score of 5 out of 5 in the following areas: Motor Imitation. According to Alejandro’s ABLLS-R’s scores he displayed difficulty in the following areas: Cooperation with Adult; Manding/Requests; Vocal Play; Vocal Imitation; Matching-to-sample; Receptive; Labeling/tact; Receptive by function, feature, and class; Conversational skills (Intraverbals); Letters and numbers; and Social interaction. …show more content…
