INVESTIGATION:

On Friday, 06/08/18, at approximately 0638 hours, County Communications broadcasted a stabbing that had occurred in the area of San Jose Avenue and Mission Street. Officer Chittenden and I responded from the Daly City Police Station. Officer Chittenden and I assisted Detective Busalacchi in his investigation by searching for the weapon and photographing the house.

Upon entry to the house from the front door there was the living room. This is used as an area for sleeping and a common area for the house as well. The was a television, videogame console and multiple different items of clothing on the couch and floor. The living room opened up to the north if standing at the front door. There was a blue, L-shaped couch that was against the west and north end of the room. The couch was covered with pillows and blankets as if someone was using it as a sleeping area. There were no screen or walls put up to separate this area from the rest of the common space. Detective Busalacchi advised me he had received permission to search the residence. I began by searching the couch, lifting all pillows, cushions, and blankets. …show more content…
I later measured the machete and it blade that was approximately 17.5 inches in length. I photographed the machete in place and later booked into the Daly City Police property room as evidence.

I continued to search behind the couch at the north end and found a pair of blue jeans with a Louis Vuitton belt. These jeans contained a passport in the back pocket belonging to Douglas Humberto Hernandez. These items collected and later booked into the Daly City Police property room as evidence.

There was also a gray hooded T-shirt with the jeans. This was also collected and later booked it into the Daly City Police property room as

Dubliners

...Dubliners Joyce, James Published: 1914 1 About Joyce: James Augustine Aloysius Joyce (Irish Séamus Seoighe; 2 February 1882 – 13 January 1941) was an Irish expatriate writer, widely considered to be one of the most influential writers of the 20th century. He is best known for his landmark novels Ulysses (1922) and Finnegans Wake (1939), the short story collection Dubliners (1914) and the semi-autobiographical novel A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man (1916). Although his adult life was largely spent outside the country, Joyce's fictional universe is firmly rooted in Dublin and provide the settings and much of the subject matter for all his fiction. In particular, his tempestuous early relationship with the Irish Roman Catholic Church is reflected through a similar inner conflict in his recurrent alter ego Stephen Dedalus. As the result of his minute attentiveness to a personal locale and his self-imposed exile and influence throughout Europe, Joyce became simultaneously one of the most cosmopolitan and one of the most local of all the great English language writers. Source: Wikipedia 2 Chapter 1 The Sisters There was no hope for him this time: it was the third stroke. Night after night I had passed the house (it was vacation time) and studied the lighted square of window: and night after night I had found it lighted in the same way, faintly and evenly. If he was dead, I thought, I would see the reflection of candles on the darkened blind, for I knew that two candles...
