Dangerous breeds of dog should be banned

Recently there has been much controversy about dangerous breeds of dogs. In this year, there are many dangerous breeds of dogs to attack people even kill people. So a lot of organizations such as state government, local councils support banning them. I think that dangerous breeds of dogs should be banned because we should notice that the security of ourselves. Actually there are about 10000 dog attacks in Victoria each year. Dangerous breeds of dog let us live in a dangerous world. We should protection ourselves to banned the dangerous breeds of dog.

The dangerous breeds of dog are very easy to become difficult to control. Although these do owners always say ” These people by dangerous breeds dogs attack because they provocative and stimulating these dogs.” But it seems too easy to make these dogs to attack people. In fact any kind of life style behaviors may stimulate these dogs. Legal advice lawyer on customer service for the owner of the dangerous breeds of dog the first is don’t leave dog at home with children alone. In the first half-year of 2009,the dogs attacks cases are 72%of serious injuries is 0-11 age group, 23% of the decease is over 55 years old. We can see dangerous breeds of dog are dangerous and threaten our safety,

The dog owners who own the dangerous breeds of dog are not responsible. Pit bull terrier attacks threaten our safety and peace life. In the news all the time is about the attacks by pit bulls. For example, a man In Toronto was walking with his two pit bulls. But his pets suddenly turned to him want to attack him. Fortunately two dogs had to be shot by police. In this case we can see the owner who own pit bull is a man in Toronto. So the owners are also very important. When I research the dog’s knowledge in the Internet. It always tell use dog owners must be trained and tamed his dog walking behind him, do not let it go in front of yourself. There are many dog owners with dogs walking not use chain and make other people who walk on the street feel afraid. So we should ban the dangerous breeds of dog.

The dangerous breeds of dog will make more people dead. I know there is a case a little girl stay at home alone and killed by a big dog. Because the girls parents were all go out to work and forgot to use chain to leash it. Maybe the little girl wants to play with the dog so make the dog too attack her. In Alice Springs it is a little town in Australia 48 years old man called Roman was found bloody and fell on the floor. And a lawyer call Judy Truman said that three weeks ago, a group of dogs raid a drunken boy. They attacked his neck until the boy dead. These cases all make me shocked so the dangerous breeds of dog should be banned.

The dangerous breeds of dog always become difficult to control. They attack people what they like. The owner of these dogs also is not responsible. And the dangerous breeds dog will make us live in a dangerous situation and make more people dead. So dangerous breeds of dog should be banned.

The Dangerous Game

...This essay examines the villains from “The Most Dangerous Game” by Richard Connell and “The Destructors” by Graham Green. By comparison and contrast, it is found that Trevor and General Zaroff possess different temperaments and behavioral traits, and yet have many similarities in method, background, and morality. Both villains are motivated by boredom and a need to express their superiority.  Many parallels can be drawn from “The Most Dangerous Game” byRichard Connell and “The Destructors” by Graham Greene, especially between Trevor and General Zaroff. Both of them are flat characters and both are the villains of the stories in which they reside. Trevor is the protagonist of “The Destructors” and General Zaroff is the antagonist of “The Most Dangerous Game.” Trevor and General Zaroff posses different temperaments and behavioral traits, and yet have many similarities in method, background, and morality. Both villains are motivated by boredom and a need to express their superiority. General Zaroff is an older, white-haired gentleman who is affable, hospitable, and good natured, while Trevor is a young gang member who is brooding and silent. General Zaroff is a hunter, and as such is a man of action – he enjoys the chase, the hunt. The boy prefers to sit quietly while planning and scheming. Trevor does not show even “the smallest flicker of glee” (Greene, 1954), while Zaroff openly shows his amusement with the game by smiling when he finds Rainsford in a tree, and by verbally stating...

Dangerous Dogs

...1) In text 1 the Chief Constable Bernard Hogan Howe thinks that the law about dangerous dog should be changed. Any dog could be aggressive and attack a person, it depends on how the owners raised it. And it is very hard to say witch dog is a pit-bull, because it could likely be half pit-bull, and if it only half pit-bull should it be put down? It is hard to know the difference. So it is “deed not breed” when the dog has done something wrong it is the owners fault, because they have not raised the dog right. It is only after the dogs that have done something wrong they should be punished, likes humans do. In text 2 Victoria Stilwell says that you should think about getting a dog, especially if you have kids. She does not think small children should be alone with any dog, because their line of vision is lower than adults and dog sees that as a threat. This is not fair to the dog, because it does not understand it. Victoria says that, if you want a dog, do not buy it from any other than a licensed breeders and dog rescue homes, and be sure that the dog is right for you and your family. In text 3 Simon Heffer means that behind every dangerous dog there is a dangerous human. The police is not doing enough about the criminals in the lower class of the society. The lower class have gotten out of control, the kids does not go to school, but get in to the criminal life style such as picking a career like drug dealing and theft. In that neighborhood death is a common thing and...

The Most Dangerous Game

...Quiz Question for “The Most Dangerous Game” Was Rainsford justified to kill Ivan? In the book, “The Pearl”, Kino killed a man because the man tried to take his most prized possession; the pearl. This relates to the short story, “The MostDangerous Game” because Rainsford killed General Zarnoff’s assistant Ivan. People come to the conclusion Rainsford should not have killed Ivan because Ivan was merely following the orders of General Zarnoff. In the past, a situation similar to this one occurred. A man called Adolf Hitler and his Nazis killed many people in Germany and the countries around it. These Nazis were "just taking orders” when they were murdering these men, women, and children. It is unacceptable and unjustifiable that the Nazis did so much damage, but they cannot tell themselves and others that they were following orders because in their hearts they know that they did what they did. Rainsford was justified to kill Ivan. General Zarnoff had forced him into playing his game, in which no one has won before. Rainsford was trying to save his life and by doing so, he killed Ivan. Rainsford helped future victims of the general’s game. He ensured a small amount of safety on the island without Ivan’s presence because now General Zarnoff does not have an assistant helping him kill innocent people. General Zarnoff violated his role in the castle by hunting human beings. Hunting human beings is an unnatural task and led to the island’s nickname being the Ship Trap. Rainsford...

The Most Dangerous Game Analysis

...The theory of “hunt or be hunted” is an idea often discussed and debated. Some state that it is always present, in some shape or form, while others argue that it does not apply to all circumstances. In The Most Dangerous Game, the hunter/hunted ideology is a prominent component. In the story, General Zaroff actually hunts Rainsford in a sort of game, hence, “The Most Dangerous Game.” Though this story is a clear example of the hunter/hunted complex in action, it is only one example. In another circumstance, the hunter/hunted complex would be irrelevant and therefore absent. In this particular story, a man called General Zaroff serves as the hunter. In the beginning, and even before the game begins, Zaroff boasts about his intelligence against the animals he’d hunted before. One example of his gasconade would be “Simply this: Hunting had ceased to be what you call ‘a sporting proposition.’ It had become too easy. I always got my quarry.(pg 234)” This quote portrays Zaroff’s pride and skill in being a hunter, along with his detachment to the game he hunts. Preceding this event, Zaroff himself states, “God makes some men poets. Some He makes kings, some beggars. Me He...

The Most Dangerous Game Critique

...Critique “The Most Dangerous Game” by Richard Edward Connell, is a suspenseful story full of conflict and strategy. The details and events in the story are written in a way that express stereotyping and discrimination. Although the author is extremely biased throughout the story, it is considered his best piece of literature. This story is about a world renowned hunter, Sanger Rainsford, who is sailing to Brazil to hunt jaguars. As his ship passes Ship Trap Island, he accidently falls overboard and manages to swims ashore. There he discovers a mansion occupied by a Russian Cossack General Zaroff and his deaf mute servant Ivan. The General, an excellent hunter himself, has become bored of hunting animals so he lures ships to his island and captures and hunts the sailors for his entertainment. When Rainsford refuses to join in hunting other humans, he becomes one of the hunted. He is given three days to try to elude capture from the General, Ivan, and his hounds. After the three days have passed and he has outsmarted the General and avoided being captured, the general honors him and presumably lets him go. First, the author discreetly displays his prejudice views, by establishing the main characters as white men, wealthy, fit, and healthy. This subtly discriminates against anyone not white, wealthy, or able-bodied. Next he sets both evil characters, Ivan and General Zaroff, as Russians, the author speaks this out when after Rainsford asks the General of Ivan’s nationality...

The Most Dangerous Game Analysis

...The Most Dangerous Game In the story “The Most Dangerous Game” a hunter and another hunter gets hunted. General Zaroff met another hunter in the story “The Most Dangerous Game” named Rainsford. Rainsford fell off his yacht and ends up having to swim to shore. Rainsford ends up being hunted by General Zaroff. They start to put the skills against each other. In the story “The Most Dangerous Game” there is a saying that there are two classes the hunters and the prey. I agree with the statement because it’s describing how the statement works in hunting. Who were the hunters in the story? “I read all books on hunting published in English and in Russian. I have but one passion and that is hunting Mr.Rainsford and it is the hunt.” The hunters in...

Essay on 'the Most Dangerous Game'

...“To Build A Fire” and Richard Connell’s, “The Most Dangerous Game”. The comparisons will be constructed of the settings, characters, and conflict. First topic to be compared is conflict. The two stories share two conflicts, a struggle for survival. In Jack London’s “To Build A Fire” the main character, not named, thinks in his head, “Without doubt he would lose some fingers and toes and some of his face…” (London 703). In the same manner, the main character, named Rainsford, kills a dog and the “bad guy” says to him “… I’ll see what you can do against my whole pack” (Connell 28). However, the two stories differ in what they struggle against. In “To Build A Fire” the conflict is person versus nature. For example the guy builds a fire and from the spruce tree falls some snow and puts out the fire; to quote “He should not have built the fire under the spruce tree” (London 700). Meanwhile, in “The Most Dangerous Game” the conflict is person versus person which is Rainsford being hunted down by General Zaroff-the “bad guy”- in the middle of a baron island. To quote from General Zaroff “Your strength and stamina against mine” (Connell 24). Secondly, literary item number two is setting. In both stories the setting is set in isolated places. Like in “To Build A Fire” its set in the Yukon in the middle of winter. To validate that “The Yukon lay a mile wide and hidden under three feet of ice” (London 694). Also in “The Most Dangerous Game” the setting is in the Caribbean on an island...

He swam to the island and that were the game of survival began. Rainsford making the man catcher to try to kill or trap zaroff helped him in his fight. It also took a lot of energy for him to make. “He saw a dead tree lying on top of a live one and got his knife out and began to work with all his energy”. (Connell 26) Rainsford built the malay mancatcher about 300 yards away from his hiding spot. He left a trail for zaroff to follow so he can fall into his trap. “Rainsford built the malay mancatcher about 300 yards away from his hiding spot.” (Connell 26) Zaroff got injured while following the trail rainsford left, he hurt his shoulder because he quickly got out of the way he was supposed to be dead.
