When I first read through this model, I found I to be very user and reader friendly. I also found that there were multiple parallels of this school as compared to the school that I teach in Inkster, MI. This model showed that school leaders and teachers emphasized a relentless focus on literacy and scrutinized results for success by utilizing a variety of things to analyze like data, assessments that are MLPP and DRA driven. Other highlighted areas of educational reinforcement was school tutoring, preparation, kindergarten strategies that focused on catching delinquencies in the very beginning (loved it), community outreach and intense goal setting activities to succeed. The coherence and alignment seem to promote comraderie among staff members and curriculum framework around the strategy of retelling events. The staff took on productive roles to choose strategies that would improve the schools' scores overall. Thus, it did.
