Before I took the self-assessment, I looked at each category to see where I felt I belonged and “spontaneous” is was my first choice, but my second choice (I would have guessed) was “status”. According to the worksheet my advantages for being spontaneous that I agree with are: get a lot of attention and recognition, have many friends and acquaintances, get things right away without waiting, and experience the thrill of taking risks. I agree with those advantages because I am naturally that way… and it doesn’t cost anything. I am a hard worker, I am knowledgeable in what I do, and my bosses (all three of them) tell me how much they appreciate the work I do regularly.
