During the course of the year, we learned about The Middle East and even when not directly learning about it, it was always mentioned in all of our chapters. I think the geography held and still does hold a big part in the influence of the culture and people. The Middle East is made up of 22 countries and a majority of it is desert. The deserts caused the people in the Middle East to be nomadic and were separated into tribes. These people were called the Bedouin. In Document E it states that, they had portable tents they could up 150 feet long, but during the summer, dry months, they had permanent wells. Then in the winter move to better grazing areas.
