Dear Mr. President, Civic and political participation we can say that is the most important personal law for you to work with the government. We all have to follow the rules that the president and the entire government put as a U.S. laws but we all want democracy, we have to make our voice heard to see things happen the way we want to manage the situation, we have many different ways of doing it, we can do it on the internet, blogs, social media, newspaper or even walk to political institution reasonable. Civic participation is important because the people who lived in U.S. have the most power to change laws or even create them, the people in the United States have been raised in a democracy; that is when citizens have the loud voice to make things happen. If we don’t participate sometimes the government can change their rights. Civilians is the better way and the most powerful way to change anything on the government because the government have laws and rules for us to follow them and if we don’t like something only us can change it , for example Venezuela it was a country that the most power was from people who live in the territory including citizens and illegals but now the new president persuade the civilians to change laws that now it makes the country manage for the anarchy and no matter what the civilians do, only the government can change the laws. Eleanor Roosevelt was born in New York on October 11, 1884. The niece of Theodore Roosevelt and wife of franklin D. Roosevelt since they married in 1905. Eleanor Roosevelt changed the role of the first lady through her active participation in American politics, was the only person who spoke about the civilians and for the civilians. When her husband the president franklin D. Roosevelt became sick with polio she begin doing a lot of things that she was shy to do, one of the biggest things she start doing was doing speeches, wrote articles, and made guest appearances on the radio to earn money for her family. When she was working with the United Nations she was able to stand up for one thing that was human rights. Eleanor Roosevelt was also motivated by her own life. She knew how hard it was for people during the Great Depression and the Second World War that she believed in helping.
Eleanor Roosevelt deserve a national holiday because she was one of the most powerful women that fight and stand up for the human rights, she was an intelligent person who fight for her and her family putting a lot of work to be the only first lady to interact with the civilians and public society. She held news conferences where it was only women reporters that could come. Eleanor Roosevelt was the first First Lady to hold press conferences. She made a change for our society and deserves to be in our honor days. Most women who became leaders of the women's movement, Eleanor Roosevelt became aware of the barriers women faced while working with other women on other social justice issues. A lot of people and women’s are standing up for the country and human rights because Eleanor Roosevelt motivated a lot of people to do things for our society. Eleanor Roosevelt
