Decision Making Process Paper

Laurie Alexander There are times in our life where we come at a certain point where we must make decisions and choose a path that will affect our whole life. In my life, that time came sooner than I had expected and I had to make some heavy thinking of which path I shall chose that will benefit me in the future and in the long run. You will read all about on how I made the decision that forever changed my life and has brought me where I am today.
When I first got here in Washington State, I had no idea what I am going to do. When my cousin insist that I go back to school I didn’t know exactly what to say about that because I didn’t want to. Two to three months pass I was jobless and I had no clue what to do next. I did not want to go back to school because I have no friends and I had no car. I was babysitting my nephew and I was on Facebook, I see my classmates who are in school, working and some are close to graduating from college. I went back looking for a job and I see that most jobs require a BA or a Master’s degree.
After that day, I went to bed and thought to myself that maybe going back to school is not bad at all. Going back to school will definitely help me get a good career and with a good career I will be able to build a better life for myself and my family. I woke up the next day and I went in search of online school, so here I am close to getting that degree and landing a solid career.
In conclusion, making a decision is not that hard at all once you know what you want and what your goals are so you can based those goas against your decision making. I also think that my process is no different from what is mentioned in our text because the process that is mentioned in the book also needs goals for a decision to be made.
