De nos jours, la publicité est très abondantes et se trouve sous tous les aspects possibles. Elle peut viser n'importe quel public et exploiter les plus vulnérables comme par exemples les jeunes enfants. En mon opinion, je pense que la pub est mensongère et insidieuse. N'importe quelles techniques peuvent être utilisées pour attirer l'attention seulement elles ne sont pas remarquées par tout le monde. Par exemple, il est facile de se souvenir d'un slogan ou d'un jingle car de cette façon, c'est facile à s'en remémorer vu que c'est pénible et que ça reste dans la tète mais c'est aussi ainsi que certaines cibles naïves se font berner et laver le cerveau.
Cependant, je crois que la publicité n'a pas que de mauvaises intentions. Je suis tout à fait en faveur de la pub sur la santé publique. Elle peut être préventive sur les dangers et les maladies. Par exemple, sur les paquets de cigarettes ont retrouves des images choquantes liées aux conséquences de la cigarette. La technique employée est donc perturbante mais accrocheur. Le consommateur peut alors s'en rappeler étant le but de la publicité. Au final, je trouve qu'on ce sert bien de la pub pour protéger les individus.
Par contre, j'avoue que les pubs de produits sont énormément stéréotypées et profite du sexisme et de l'âgisme. Par exemple, dans les pubs de produits ménagers, on voit souvent des femmes en train de faire le ménage ce qui renforce le stéréotype de la femme. Je ne suis absolument pas d'accord avec l'utilisation de cette technique car elle entraine les personnes à penser injustement et à ne pas connaitre la vraie valeur des choses.
En conclusion, je trouve que la publicité est vraiment très omniprésente et influence le comportement et l' idéologie des gens. Elle a dépassé le but principal qu'elle est censée avoir donc celui d'informer les consommateurs de nouveaux produits. Enfin, elle utilise toutes les techniques possibles même si cela en vient à être trompeur et immorale.
