“The hero is never the star of the story” (Manson). This means that the hero never does anything for the attention it would bring. In the words of Christopher Reeve, “Heroes are heroes not because they have power, but because they have the maturity levels necessary to use said powers for the good of humanity.” Heroism is evolving to a higher level of human being and being greater than oneself without recognition (Stone). This means that a hero is someone that has become greater than a regular person, and not only for attention.
In essence, the purpose of a hero is to do something extra-ordinary. Not everyone can become a great hero, but a great hero can come from anyone.
