Thinking I sit in a rectangular oak wooden table, by a window with a view of the lushes plain. Bloodshot eyes, tired faces type away on the computers, having no clue as time flies by in their unconscious eyes. Their body movements display the stress that college life has laid upon their hunched shoulders, but they are aware that this will soon pay off when they achieve their degree. They sigh deeply, lay their sore heads down on the hard tables, spin around in their gray chairs, and pace as they finish their vigorous assignments. I look through the window, gazing at the green grass and the blue sky with several clouds, as cars rush by. A yellow Volkswagen Beetle with scratched paint, a lime colored van with dirty windows in need of a wash, a black jeep each parked in front of the library as students rush to their classes to begin their long and exhausting day.
In the small yellow cubed room referenced as the library several students try to cope with their stress, others browse the web, play games, watch movies on social media, or visit sites for their own amusement. The two friends who had been talking about math 63 now get up and swiftly leaves the room. I notice they had necklaces with a capital letter on one another, I knew they were more than friends. One has the letter B as the other girl has an F, they were best friends. How long? Who knows, but as they exit the front door, my guess it has been a long time. They help each other up, give each other a hug and depart in separate ways waving
